Hot off the press. TD's Reward and Recognition program for 2008 explained to the folks from coast to coast. This project was designed to be complementary in style to another video... which is described below.

EPC Connection

This year's EPC event in Chicago, "EPC Connection", was co-produced by RFID Journal and EPCglobal North America. I shot the event, and a video promoting their conference in October, 2008, is now available on-line.

TD Canada Trust: Every Moment Counts

I've been busy creating a video that aims to explain the value of the little "moments of truth" that can occur between TDCT employees and their customers. Actual stories were re-created graphically, and the narrative was driven by excerpts from a touching interview with a TD exec.

Cognos 2007

A walking, talking "rant" to convey your passion to the masses is always a good idea. Captured during a quick trip to Cognos HQ in Ottawa, Ontario.

RFID Journal

At the beginning of May, I went down to Orlando to shoot "RFID Journal LIVE! 2007". A video was created to promote future conferences and appears on the organization's website, and is now also one of my case studies. Some footage from the video is to be included in a program about RFID scheduled to run on Maryland Public Television.

UPDATE: One kind viewer on the web went out of his way to contact my client directly and called it "...one of the best event videos I have ever seen produced... a great example of corporate storytelling."

Accessibility and Customer Service

Most recently, I've been working on a documentary style project for the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services. It's all about improving the level of customer service people with disabilities receive. The project featured in-depth interviews with people with a variety of disabilities. Five customized versions, targeting five different sectors of Ontario's economy, were produced and distributed on DVD.

TD Canada Trust Champions

For the last while, I've been working on a series of modules to honour some award winners at TD Canada Trust. I interviewed their bosses and we captured some fun shots of the winners - all in a lively session spread over two days. Here's what a single frame of it looked like after my editor and graphics guy got a hold of the footage...

"Your video on the huge screen looked gorgeous. Everyone raved about it... even the really big bosses. Thanks so much...it really worked brilliantly."

In fact, 78% of the attendees who filled out questionnaires gave the videos five out of five... the highest score my client had ever seen.

Now, it's one of my case studies.

RFID Journal LIVE Canada

Just finished shooting the first ever "RFID Journal LIVE!" event in Canada. This will be my sixth video for a variety of clients within the blossoming RFID industry over the last four years - starting with a video of one of the first successful RFID demos at the Auto-ID Lab at MIT in Cambridge, Mass. In fact, at the conference, I met two instructors from L’Université de Sherbrooke who still show that video as part of their RFID course.
